We are searching for the next Deja & Co. Sales Professional!
We are a destination boutique. Surrounded by the natural beauty of our Saratoga courtyard, as a Deja & Co. Sales Professional, you will get to work with an incredible clientele. From creating a bespoke piece of jewelry with rare gemstones to guiding a first-time purchaser, you will intuit the perfect jewels that represent the wearer’s individuality and beauty.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about selling natural gemstones, diamonds, and fine jewelry to help grow the Deja & Co. brand.

What you’ll be doing…
- Build lifelong, multi-generational relationships with clients by earning their trust through the utmost level of service and care
- Work together with the sales team to achieve the boutique's monthly sales goals
- Work independently to achieve your own individual sales goals
- Strategize and customize your service to provide a bespoke experience tailored to each individual client and their needs
- Work with designers and our procurement specialist to source the best possible jewelry and gemstones within a client's budget
- Work with custom goldsmiths and designers to conceptualize and create bespoke pieces to the client's specifications and budget
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines (think weddings, anniversaries, etc.)
- Manage multiple projects at once in an organized manner, utilizing technology alongside physical files to keep records of details and ahead of deadlines
- Independently create and manage your own task list to stay on top of multi-step sales projects and day-to-day duties
- Work together with the sales team to take care of walk-in clients alongside scheduled appointments, making sure to provide equally excellent service and make the most of every selling opportunity
- Participate in boutique and local events with a strong drive for making connections and bringing in new clientele
- Work alongside all team members to set up merchandise display each morning, and put it away each evening
Additional Qualifications:
- Over 21 years of age (required)
- Able to work long hours including nights and weekends, primarily Saturdays (required)
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, and lift up to 30lbs (required)
- Familiarity with Mac operating systems preferred
- GIA (Gemological Institute of America) coursework preferred but not required
- High School diploma required, college coursework preferred
Hours: Our shifts fall within the hours of 9am and 9pm, with occasional earlier or later shifts for meetings or special events. Shifts currently average 10 to 11 hours, but can sometimes be longer or shorter. Days worked are Tuesday through Saturday, with a handful of occasional Sundays and Mondays throughout the year, most especially in December.
