Fine Jewelry Assistant Boutique Manager (Full Time)

As the Deja & Co. Fine Jewelry Assistant Boutique Manager, you will be integral to building and supporting our talented team. You will assist our Boutique Manager with everything from sourcing talent to the general administrative and operational tasks that keep the boutique running smoothly throughout the day.

Core Areas of Responsibility:
Human Resources

  • Assist in creating comprehensive training manuals & materials for all positions within company;
  • Maintain employee files;
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all workplace laws and regulations;
  • Coordinate ongoing team trainings; and
  • Assist in team scheduling.

Recruiting

  • Assist in creation of job requisitions;
  • Post jobs to various job boards and actively recruit passive candidates;
  • Assist in screening candidates and scheduling interviews;
  • Maintain candidate records and ensure timely follow-up throughout interview process; and
  • Assist in on-boarding and training for new employees.

Operations Support

  • General administrative duties (record-keeping, filing, etc.);
  • Event planning & management;
  • Work with management to coordinate daily duties of all team members and provide ongoing assistance and training as necessary;
  • Procure and maintain inventory of store supplies; and
  • Special projects, as assigned.


Candidate Qualifications:

  • Consistently provides authentic, exemplary customer service; 
  • Is motivated and has a positive and professional attitude; 
  • Is responsible, reliable, hard working and energetic; 
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills (both in person and over the phone, as well as via email, text). 
  • Must have a flexible schedule that includes working day, evening and weekend shifts (evenings and weekends required);
  • Experienced in retail sales, hospitality, or service industries a plus; and 
  • High School diploma required. College coursework preferred.
